The Danish Cultural Institute is looking for a new colleague to join the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House team!

We are hiring a Project Coordinator who will oversee the implementation of the “Dreams for Ukraine” («УкраїнаМрії»), the project that supports youth addressing challenges in their home regions.

You'll join a team of dedicated employees in Kyiv, working closely with colleagues in both Mykolaiv and Denmark. Within the “Dreams for Ukraine”, you will be a part of and a coordinator of the great and experienced project-team. Your role will have a diverse range of responsibilities: project planning, stakeholder coordination, management of trainers and service providers, implementation of national and international activities, participant engagement, and oversight of logistics, finances, and reporting.

About us:

The Ukrainian-Danish Youth House is a Danish-funded project that supports youth participation, democracy, and creativity. We offer a creative, democratic platform to support youth projects, culture, and activism across our countries, with two free, available youth spaces in Kyiv and Mykolaiv, as well as programs, international opportunities, and a Grant Program. The Youth House is formally steered by a consortium consisting of the Danish Youth Council and the Danish Cultural Institute.

About the “Dreams for Ukraine” («УкраїнаМрії») project:

«УкраїнаМрії» is a project for young people who are willing to develop their home regions and solve local challenges. Since 2022, it has covered 9 regions: Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Poltava, and Sumy. Currently, alumni are united in the cross-regional community where they create teams, co-create, and exchange experiences for their regions and Ukraine.

In 2026, the project will be even larger than before: online sessions, two trainings in Kyiv, mentorship, study trip to Denmark, pitching events, as well as activities for the community, including thematic events, educational seminars, mini-grants, and two Summits.

Tasks:

  • Full-cycle project planning and implementation
  • Coordinating the project team
  • Coordinating external actors involved: service providers, trainers, mentors
  • Conducting events (trainings, events for the community)
  • Conducting the cross-border exchange trip as a part of the project
  • Responsible for the overall monitoring, evaluation & reporting
  • Being a point of contact for all the project-related questions
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications required:

  • Higher education completed
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions
  • Experience with project management (full cycle)
  • Experience in team management
  • Strong command of written and spoken Ukrainian and English
  • Willingness and legal availability to travel in Ukraine and abroad
  • Experience with youth exchanges or international experiences is an advantage
  • Regional network/knowledge of regional structures is an asset
