What are we looking for?

We are interested in seeing what is happening in the world and finding partners.

Location: Lviv (our organization travels to towns and villages throughout Ukraine)

All organizations: Culture

WHO ARE WE?

A goal of the PSP – is to create a platform for developing a culture of the communities and providing the possibilities to the artists for the realization of their potential.

What do we do?
We create one-day cultural events in the towns and villages of Ukraine. The participants – local and invited artists. The event includes a visual art exhibition, literary reading, music jam, and a craft fair.

Poets and writers read their works; artists cooperate, apart from realizing their exhibitions, creating a unique art object. Many people share their art for the first time – PSP creates a comfortable environment for the manifestation of the artists’ potential.

The guests of the PSP space get the opportunity not only to have a cultural vacation but also to go through the complicated, closed emotions in each of us, caused by the invasion of the russian federation of the territory of our native state.

How do we do this?
Monthly the PSP chooses a new location for a cultural event. When the place and the time are finally approved we get to know local artists. We inform people on social media. We contact the artists from the previous locations and invite them to perform at a future event. We arrive at the place early to actively inform the townspeople/villagers about the upcoming event, and encourage them to attend it. We put up posters and distribute printed information products among residents.

The event begins with an exhibition of paintings and works of masters (handmade crafts). The literary readings begin after the art paintings become fully seen. Each poet and novelist is given the same amount of time, which is optimal and flexible, depending on the audience's preferences and the artist's needs. The musical evening begins after the masters of the word become fully heard. It takes place in the form of a jam - an improvisational collaboration of musicians. As a result, strong social ties are formed between people of Ukraine who care about art.

The event space always includes tables with refreshments. We prefer healthy food. Culinary artists are involved in the event. In addition to the activities listed above, we show films, conduct lectures, master classes, and presentations (a book and a hand-made musical instrument were presented at summer events).

We also give time to guests who have already taken the initiative to share their artistic heritage at the event - we encourage those who have not done so before to create and show their art.

Anyone can become a participant in the event, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, and residence. We are free, we are different, and we value it.

Between events, the PSP plans to create and print a monthly magazine with artists' works. Also, maintain a YouTube page with frank conversations of participants and visitors of events. In this way, we will document the Ukrainians who are not indifferent to art lived during the invasion of the russian federation.

WHAT DRIVES US?

PSP creates cultural events where artists can experience emotions through the creation and visitors through the contemplation of art. Being among people who share a love of art also has a therapeutic effect. Artists in small towns and villages are cut off from the world. There are no platforms where they can show and sell their art. We create platforms where artists can exhibit their works and in such a way prove themselves to the world. There are no cultural events in towns and villages.
